Yamaha Launches India’s First Hybrid Bike: FZ-S Fi Hybrid 2025
Yamaha has taken a big step into the future by launching the FZ-S Fi Hybrid 2025, India’s first hybrid motorcycle in the 150cc category. Priced at ₹1,44,800 (ex-showroom,), this new model brings together fuel efficiency, smart technology, and stylish design.
The FZ-S Fi Hybrid runs on a 149cc air-cooled engine and includes a Smart Motor Generator (SMG). This system gives the bike a small electric boost during low speeds and helps the engine start more quietly. It also features a Start-Stop System, which turns off the engine when the bike is idle and restarts it with a simple clutch action—saving fuel in traffic.

One of the biggest highlights is the 4.2-inch full-color TFT display. It connects to your smartphone using Yamaha’s Y-Connect app, offering features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts, and even the last parking location. Riders will also enjoy the Bluetooth connectivity, LED headlamp, and traction control system for added safety.
The bike is available in two bold colors—Racing Blue and Cyan Metallic Grey—and keeps the muscular streetfighter look that Yamaha’s FZ series is known for. With a top speed of 100 km/h, fuel efficiency of 60 km/l, and a comfortable riding posture, it’s perfect for both city rides and short highway trips.
The FZ-S Fi Hybrid is not just a bike—it’s a smart, eco-friendly ride built for the modern commuter.
