The platform simplifies the process of requesting extradition, deportation, and evidence-sharing while addressing the challenges posed by traditional, slower methods like letters, emails, and faxes.
India has witnessed a surge in transnational crimes such as cybercrime, financial fraud, organized crime, and human trafficking, necessitating quicker access to international assistance. According to the CBI, over 17,000 international assistance requests were handled in 2023, alongside the issuance of a record 100 Red Notices by Interpol at India’s request. Despite these numbers, the current process often leads to delays due to back-and-forth communications. Bharatpol has been developed to address these bottlenecks.
