KARAM Safety reinforced its commitment to corporate social responsibility by distributing more than 38,000 pairs of safety gloves to municipal workers across North India during severe winter conditions.
The initiative aimed to support workers engaged in outdoor civic duties who remain exposed to extreme cold. Key regions such as Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand were prioritised due to the intensity of the cold wave.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Kavita Nigam, Chief Human Resources Officer, KARAM Safety, said the initiative represents the company’s people-first approach to safety and community care.
In Lucknow, the distribution was conducted alongside the Lucknow Municipal Corporation, with Mayor Ms. Sushma Kharkwal present. In Sitarganj, the drive was supported by the Nagar Palika and led by Ms. Pratibha Kohli, Executive Officer.
Through this initiative, KARAM continues to demonstrate its dedication to worker safety, social responsibility, and community well-being.
