In a tweet posted three days after the Lok Sabha election results were declared, Musk wrote, “Congratulations @narendramodi on your victory in the world’s largest democratic elections! Looking forward to my companies doing exciting work in India.” This gesture comes as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by Narendra Modi, secured 240 seats in the Lok Sabha, emerging as the single largest political party.
While the BJP did not secure enough seats on its own to reach the majority mark, the NDA alliance is set to form the government with 293 seats.
